Diseases reveal our *Shadow* and that shadow is then rejected. A physical breakdown in an organ, a dis’ease’ or a lack of ease, points to a life altering event in the recent past. Though we believe every organ has a propensity to store a certain emotion, e.g. heart = love, the client is as much influenced by unconscious loyalty as by personal experience. The degree of the breakdown is seen on 2 levels. We must meet the traumatic event the client personally experienced and what happened in the larger system.
